Hot Galvanized

Galvanized connecting chain links are designed to connect two chains together or a chain to a component. Use in applications where a shackle is not practical or for a more permanent attachment. Sold as two mating pieces. For proper closure, peen the prongs to fill the holes as much a possible. Made from forged steel and then hot dipped galvanized to ASTM A-153 specifications, this link will give you years of service as a salt or fresh water chain attachment. Never reuse a connecting link! Meets Fed Spec RR-C-271 Type II NOT FOR OVERHEAD LIFTING.
