Freight Policy
We pay the freight on items marked "FREE Freight!" (continental US only)
About truck shipments (not UPS) to residential addresses:
(These restrictions are for drums and half drums only - there are NO restrictions on pails or anything with an item weight of under 150 lbs) We are not able to ship drums to a residential address. Please arrange to have your shipment sent to a commercial address where a fork lift is available. Alternatively. we can have the trucking company hold your drums at their terminal nearest you for your pickup.. There is a $40.00 non-negotiable fee from the trucking company for calling you when the shipment is ready for pick up. If you do not pick up your shipment as arranged, there may be additional storage fees as well that would be your responsibility.
On all other items we do not calculate freight charges on our website. We will charge you only the freight we are charged to ship your order.
Below are some approximate UPS rates to help you estimate what your freight will be on some common items. We will be happy to quote exact rates at your request.
This chart is based on shipments from the Chicagoland area. If one of our warehouse affiliates in
Atlanta, Dallas or Portland, Oregon is closer to you and has stock, the zone will change in your favor.

We always ship the cheapest way and have negotiated special contracts with carriers wherever possible.
These are commercial rates. UPS charges a little more for residential delivery.
We will send your freight charges by return email on request. If you don't agree that they are fair or it's not what you expected, you may cancel your order by calling us at 800-523-2367. You can cancel by email but email servers can sometimes be hours in delivery and by that time, your order may already be out the door.
