How do I choose the Snap Link I need?

    We've figured out which chain size it fits.  All you need to decide is if the snap opening on the chart will fit the eyebolt to which you are connecting.

 

What if I need to use a 3/8" snap link on my 3/16 chain?  It won't fit!

Use a 3/16 Quick Link between the two. It fits the 3/16 chain and a 3/8 snap link will go thru the middle of the quick link.

 

Note: Supplied closed for even powder coat application.  You many have to rap the "gate" open on a protected edge the first use.   This is not a defect.

Details

Used as a an attachment point to connect chain to your bollards (posts).  You can drill a hole and use a nut on the inside of the post or drill and tap the hole for screwing in the eye bolt when you have no access to the interior.  Powder Coat is over plain steel on the eye and shoulder only, the threads are uncoated.

 

How do I choose the Eye Bolt I need?

    We've figured out which one best fits the quick links or snap links.  Typically you should choose the same eye bolt size as the chain size being used but that's not a hard and fast rule.
